Description

Ocean Housing Group’s vision is to be an innovative provider of quality homes and services, with residents and staff at the heart of Ocean, and Ocean at the heart of the community.

As part of our Group, Gilbert & Goode has a reputation for building inspiring new homes. It has grown from humble beginnings in 1972 to become one of the South West’s leading developers. We put customers at the heart of everything we do.

Furthermore, we promote and retain excellent relationships with local landowners, stakeholders, and the supply chain to bring the best opportunities, sustainable local products, and services to create inspirational neighbourhoods while investing in the local community.

As Managing Director, you’ll lead the production of Gilbert & Goode’s business plan to deliver new, high-quality affordable homes and homes for open market sale.  You’ll create a culture that aligns with the Group Corporate and People Strategies, develop and empower the team and actively role model our One Ocean values.

We are seeking a commercially minded, strategic leader who is passionate about our purpose and impact. With a successful track record at a senior level, developing new homes, you’ll bring experience in land acquisition and planning processes and a deep understanding of the development framework and contracting environment. Crucially, you’ll be able to evidence creating a high-performance culture where organisational values are integral.

Ocean is committed to creating a culture of inclusivity and belonging. As a Disability Confident Committed employer, we run a guaranteed interview scheme for disabled applicants.
